DJ Profiles DJ ALDO  Aldo was born in London and is of Latin origin. With over 10 years of experience, he’s been performing both as a DJ and percussionist in the most stylish and trend-setting venues across Europe, the US and throughout Asia.On percussion, he has performed for the likes of Kylie Minogue, The Buena Vista Social Club, The Gotan Project and many others. He recently arrived from a 3-month DJ tour of Europe and now happily resides in Hong Kong. DJ TIM Z  Tim started his DJ career in the UK in 1985 and went on to play in the most exotic of locales such as Monaco, Cannes, Caracas, Panama City, Bangkok, Los Angeles, St. Martin, Antigua, Canary Islands, and London – just to name a few.Since arriving in Hong Kong in 1997, Tim has established himself in some of Hong Kong’s hippest venues that include Harvey Nichols and Dragon-i. His musical influences include Motown, Disco, Soul, Blues, Reggae, Jazz & Funky Beats, hence developing a personal style best described as “Soulful House”. DJ ROMI  Romi stepped into House & Dance music in the early years of his career more than 10 years ago. His live sets echo the sounds of both chilled and funky beats while taking his audience through a deep and dark journey of Electro progression.Hailing from Delhi, he gained residency at CJs/Eau Bar @ Le Meridien where he grooved the city’s crowd to the intense vibes of his style. His regular Hong Kong spots include Gecko, Buddha Lounge, Solas, FINDS, Club Q, California, Yumla, and Aqua – he’s also a regular for fashionable corporate parties with clients such as Fashion TV, Chivas, Bacardi, and MTV. DJ COSTEF  Costef was born in Italy but has belonged to the British-Dutch-German DJ panorama since he first stepped onto the scene.He can be considered a Cross-over Performer. Although his main vibe is Progressive House, his various musical influences take him on a journey from the 80s to House, from lounge to Trance. Resident at Goccia and Lei Dou in Hong Kong, he’s a DJ of the digital era, devoted to his Mac and Traktor Studio. DJ HELEN  Helen is new to the DJ scene but already Hong Kong’s fastest rising star and most booked DJ. She’s already a resident at Tivo, Dragon-i, Lotus, Zuma and Lei Dou.She plays a blend of ‘Nu Club’, mixing groovy Soulful House, with Deep House and Nu-Jazz, as a winning combination of the city’s freshest music and face. DJ ANTWONE  Grasped by the allure of the underground rave movement in Vancouver, Antwone began his appreciation for Electronica Music in the mid-90s, with a heavy influence by old Funk Classics and the Disco Era while adding the latest 'cutting edge' House Sounds.Antwone has been spinning at all of Bangkok's top venues, with full-time residencies at the award-winning Mystique Club and famous Bed Supperclub, Lucile Disko, Distil, and Syn. Throughout Asia, he has had gigs at ZOUK Club and ATTICA in Singapore, and hot venues in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, and Korea. MTV also featured Antwone at the 2006 MTV Siloso New Years Splash Party with over 10,000+ people! Known to lay down either a sweet blend of deep groovy funky House or whip the dance floor into a 'frenzy' with a hard pumpin' Funky Tech Tribal set, he’s a regular at Hong Kong spots such as Club Q, KEE Club, Home-Base and Tivo. DJ TYNEE  A native of New York, the past 2 years has seen Tynee fully emerge as the
most exciting and in-demand DJ in Hong Kong. Having played at Armani Bar, M1NT,
Volar, Halo, Tivo, and Goccia, she has also headlined in Thailand, Singapore, Russia, Spain, and many cities in China. She plays regularly at private parties for fashion A-listers that include Emporio Armani, D-Mop, Hysteric Glamour, and Burberrys, establishing a music style as diverse as the history of dance music itself by drawing on her own experience as a clubbing veteran. Her preferred style can be described as very sexy, funky, and down-right dirty house music. Tynee brings an atmosphere of primal energy and sexual drama to any club she plays at, whether locally or abroad.  |
